MMAP volunteers assist Medicare beneficiaries to...Understand doctor and hospital bills, File Medicare Appeals, Know their hospital rights and Medicare benefits, Review Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Explore Medicaid eligibility, including Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB), Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB), and Additional Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (ALMB) programs, and compare and provide information on Medigap and long-term care insurance options.
